Welcome to LA

So here I am...welcome to Los Angeles. I have been up here for almost two full weeks and I have to say, I am enjoying it a lot. Its weird to be an adult--but Im trying my best. Unfortunately, the job hunt is still continuing..something is bound to happen soon so everyone send me good thoughts so that by the end of next week I might actually have some source of INCOME.

For those who don't know, I'm living with Saskia, who went to UCI a few years before us (she was in Hair)..and I have to say that it has been so great living with her. She's a really good roommate and has been so good at trying to get me plugged into the LA scene, letting me hang out with her, introducing me to her friends, etc because she knows how hard it is to start over. So I've been seeing so many UCIers that I havent seen in years like Gaby, Pilar, Matt, and Cameron..and still seeing Melissa, Lisa, Zack, and Ryan occassionally...It's been fun.

So far my celebrity sightings have been Keanu Reeves, Steven Tyler, and Topher Grace (who gave me the once over in Barnes and Noble), and a few Real Worlders who were a drunken mess at karaoke the other day :)

the house is great...it has huge windows so I feel like Im in a fishbowl. The location is amazing because you can walk almost everywhere. food. bars. Its all right here.

The really great thing is that Im not driving 8 hrs a day for auditions...its so nice to be able to go to auditions from my agent and be able to have the rest of the day to actually have a life. And Im gradually starting to get more since I got my last headshots. Up to a steady 4 or so a week, so Im excited. Something good HAS to come soon, it has to :)

Hope everything with everyone else is going great. I miss so many people....and I miss the slightly cheaper movie tickets in OC. why is EVERYTHING so expensive up here :-p
